Membership Dues and Application

Each boat in the Cayuga Lake Cruising Fleet pays membership dues that cover the many costs of running weekly sailboat races. Dues collected are used to pay for use of the Ithaca Yacht Club point for race starting and the race committee who start each race, maintenance of the lighted buoys that make up the race courses, PHRF membership, refreshments at end-of-the-season events, programmes and pennants for the annual awards banquet, as well as mailing and supply costs.
(Dinner at Red Jacket Yacht Club, the Fall awards banquet, and Frost Bite Regatta entrance fee are NOT included in seasonal dues.)

After reviewing the expected finances, membership rates for 2008 have been reduced slightly from 2007 levels to $225 for the full season of races. All 3 race series (spring, summer, fall) are included. We welcome new boats to join the fleet at a significantly discounted rate of $100 for the whole season.
