Membership Dues and Application

Each boat in the Cayuga Lake Cruising Fleet pays membership dues that cover the many costs of running weekly sailboat races. Dues collected are used to pay for use of the Ithaca Yacht Club point for race starting and the race committee who start each race, maintenance of the lighted buoys that make up the race courses, PHRF membership, refreshments at end-of-the-season events, programmes and pennants for the annual awards banquet, as well as mailing and supply costs.
(Dinner at Red Jacket Yacht Club, the Fall awards banquet, and Frost Bite Regatta entrance fee are NOT included in seasonal dues.)

Boat membership rates for 2010 have increased from last year to cover a small deficit. All 3 race series (spring, summer, fall) are included. We welcome new boats to join the fleet at a significantly discounted rate of $100 for the whole season.

Supporting gifts from crew and skippers of non-participating boats of $25 are welcomed, however CLCF is not registered with the IRS as a non-profit.

Crew members should also use this form (fill in top few lines). It provides contact information and the $10 membership fee helps support CLCF activities including burgers at the four cookout and party events each season.
